United States law prohibits anyone under the age of 18 to stay in a hotel or house rental without an adult. Hospitals and doctor's offices will not release medical information to someone who is not a legal guardian, and many airlines will not allow passengers under 15 to travel alone.
For these reasons, all SHA Memberships include an agreement for families, allowing our Student Care Team (Chaperones) to provide 24hr adult supervision when needed, or act as their guardian during an emergency.
Whether your student needs to leave school for a doctor's appointment, pickup at the airport, or stay off campus during holidays, our concierge will make all arrangements for you, as well as communicate with your school.
Chaperones are only provided for overnight services, or if a legal guardian is required.

SHA Chaperones are certified healthcare professionals who are screened and vetted for safety, as well as trained in First Aid, CPR and Youth Mental Health First Aid. We also take extra care to make sure they are qualified to work with students and teenagers. Students will receive the best possible care during any SHA Service to ensure their health and safety while away from home.

Premium Hotel Accommodations
We use "all-suites" properties with living areas and kitchens in each room. Our experience has shown that students adjust better in an extended stay environment, especially when recovering from medical or mental health emergencies.

Limousine
All pickups are coordinated by SHA Staff using private car services to ensure safety and reliability. For COVID+ emergencies, we use specialized limousines or Mercedes CEO vans with partitions. First-class quality...for health reasons!
The REAL Deal
On Demand Services
With an SHA Membership, students will experience first-class service and 100% reliable care! A private limousine (with safety partition) will pick them up in 3-6 hours and drive them to their hotel where they will be greeted by their Chaperone and checked into their room.
We are always available!
Every membership includes an official "Certificate" that can be sent to your student's School to keep on file for their records in case of an emergency. The certificate contains SHA address & contact information.
If you are a U.S. parent without local support for your student within a few hours of school, SHA can act on your behalf to provide any needed care until you arrive.
Pre-Campus Arrival Services
SHA can arrange for your student to be picked up at the airport by a private black car or SUV when their flight arrives (limousine service also available). Our chauffeurs will drive them safely to their school, or their next destination.
